Tanner Robinson

left quotation markMy name is Tanner Robinson and I’m a student from ASU just out of my Freshmen year of school. I was asked to climb Mt. Kilimanjaro in late May 2008 after getting a call from Cyndy Ross, and after considering everything that my decision of whether or not to go would entail, I went with ‘yes’. For me, this hike is all about completing a goal that may seem unbeatable at the beginning. I want to be able to see this through to the end in order to hopefully, give myself the strength and confidence to tackle other challenges in my life with these newfound character traits. While training for, and actually climbing Kilimanjaro, I want to be able to rely on my own physical and mental strength, but also rely on the collective support of the team in order to reach our goal.right quotation mark

Age: 20

Hometown: Phoenix, Arizona

FBC Connection: I went to pre-school at the FBC and have been coming back and forth over the years.

Hobbies: I am an avid reader (I'll read just about anything except the horror genre) and love to watch movies. Hiking is a relatively new thing, but it has lead to me exercising more often, which has been a good thing. I also like computers and video games. Anything to do with electronics/technology, really.

Other Affiliations: I go to Arizona State University.
