Follow our newest effort as we hike the Grand Canyon rim to rim in October 2010.
The State of Arizona recently cut funding for 52 blind babies next year. Our Infant Program at the Foundation for Blind Children provides in-home training for parents so they can teach their baby how to use other senses to learn what sighted babies learn with vision. Studies have shown that 90% of learning in the first 5 years of life is learned visually. Team Kili has raised the money to provide services to these 52 babies next year. Our incredible success to date proves that we have the right message for Arizona and the world; that we can do anything, we can conquer any obstacle put in front of us and right now 52 families are facing extreme hardship without our help. Our team is coming to the rescue by raising the money to pay for these 52 babies.
Both Tanner Robinson and Max Ashton received services as babies…and look at them now, climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro!
